GRAPHIC ART AND MARKETING TIPS
FROM PROFESSIONAL ART SERVICES

Tip 1: Establish Brand Identity

It is important to create a brand identity by establishing a style in your printed media, promotional items and web pages. Part of this is to have the technical specifications for your branding that should include your logo, fonts, colors, sizes, placement etc. Follow your specs in all of your communications. If you do not have a business image with specs. to maintain your brand, get them or create them. This is a service I offer, once and done and witin your budget. Let's talk!
I offer a Free Consultation and propose solutions for you.

Tip 2: Visit your own website often.

Ask everyone to visit your website often. Have a promotion on your website and convenient places for clicks to contact you. And if you do not blog or edit regularly, commit to a calendar, seasonal, quarterly, monthly or whatever reality works for you and go onto your site and generate some activity. Create a gallery and populate available text values. Visits are like door knocks, the more visitors knocking on your door, the more activity is generated on your website. The spiders like those active algorithms and specific pages and word-searches can be tracked so you can write more focused text into your website. Redundancy is okay in word searches but fresh new words generate more traffic and shake the web!
If you find it difficult to write fresh copy, create a form for testimonials, read and use emails you receive, take notes after encouraging conversations from happy customers. Or, call me, I can help with the marketing copy writing and with the layout and design of that copy, to guide, influence and attract your specific audience. If you have a tired old neglected website, or none at all, Contact Me
I will create a new website or make the old one fresh and new!

Tip 3: Keep a Contact List

We know word of mouth works. For every happy customer you have ever served keep their contact information. Loyalty is huge and also important to maintain. Have this information at easy access and use it. Seasonal is good but if you only make contact once a year, make sure it is at the same time of year. Focusing on promotional contact at the same time of year they previously used your services. They will come to expect it. Be sure you have a familiar identity by following your Branding Technical Specifications.
If you need help improving your business image Contact Me, I can help you.

Tip 4: Build an Image Library

Take photos. Before and after photos are very dramatic and personal testimonials with a smiling face are great!. It is always good business to celebrate your happy customers. Ask for permission first. If people are the subjects be sure to have a signed release. I can provided an image release form for you today just contact me and I will send you an electronic version. CYA  (cover your a _ _) and get it signed up front after you receive their permission, this includes your employees.  Many people are flattered but others like to remain anonymous, it is good practice to accommodate the folks who decline. Owning your image library is great for marketing.  Stock images are okay, you can grab lots of images on-line but be sure the images are crisp and have the correct resolution for print or web use.  Keep original untouched photos. If you are a Photoshop warrior and love to edit and enhance your photos, use a copy. Keep a library file of the original raw images from the camera. If you must edit the sizes of your photos, learn the correct way to edit the pixels, I provide my customers with an image library when their projects are completed.
Contact Me if you need professional photos of products, places, or people.
I am an expert at photo retouch and image creation for web and print media.

Tip 5: Have a promotion to put into the customers hands.

This is that timeless promotion: postcard, brochure, coupon, newsletter or helpful hints documents something useful or of value to put in the hands of your customer. I can go deep on this subject but for today let’s just say, you give them a coupon worth $20, transferable to anyone if they choose; if it triggers a phone call, an email or a quote, you now have an addition to build your contact list. Or, if they cash it in themselves, there is the return business we strive for. Some professional services who coupons do not work for can offer helpful advise and tips! The key is to not over do it. Creating intrigue and giving them the info in doses works best.  I have created successful, timeless printables that my customers use for years.
Let me make something timeless for your business!
